Call for Papers

The workshop will discuss artificial intelligence (AI) optimization and its applications in the network, with a focus on edge computing and Internet of Things (IoT) environments. Edge Intelligence leverages localized data processing at the edge of the network, reducing the need for extensive data transmission to central servers and enabling quicker responses in IoT applications. Network AI involves integrating AI techniques within the network infrastructure to enable intelligent data routing, predictive maintenance, and adaptive network management. This approach ensures efficient resource utilization and improved network performance. Multidisciplinary research that combines edge intelligence with other emerging technologies, such as blockchain, cybersecurity, and advanced AI models, is highly welcomed. The potential topics include, but are not limited to:

  • Techniques for optimizing network performance using AI and machine learning
  • Leveraging edge computing to enhance IoT applications and reduce latency.
  • Implementing AI methods for detecting anomalies in real-time in networks
  • Methods for integrating and analyzing data from diverse IoT sources using AI
  • Using AI to predict and prevent network and equipment failures in IoT environments
  • Data processing and analysis techniques at the edge for efficient IoT data handling
  • Utilizing AI to analyze and interpret geographically distributed IoT data
  • Enhancing security in edge computing environments with advanced AI models
  • Exploring the synergy between blockchain technology and edge intelligence for secure IoT applications
  • Exploring Edge Computing and AI Integration in Smart Cities and Urban Infrastructure.
  • Future Directions and Emerging Trends in Edge Computing and IoT Integration with AI Technologies.
